Roman Consulting is led by George Roman, a former Boeing Company executive with 34 years of extensive experience in Government Relations, Operations, Global Corporate Citizenship, and Global and Domestic Business Development and Strategy.
Roman served in a variety of corporate positions in St. Louis, MO and Washington, D.C. He held positions as Vice President of State and Local Government Operations and the St. Louis Regional Executive, Vice President and General Manager of Operations in Boeing Support Systems Company, Vice President and Chief of Staff of the Boeing Washington, D.C. Office, and Vice President of Business Development for Boeing Aircraft and Missile Systems. In 1980, Roman joined McDonnell Douglas as Program Coordinator for the Harpoon Missile Program. Following increasingly responsible assignments with several operating units, he was selected as the company’s representative to the Brookings Congressional Assistant Program on Capitol Hill where he served on the Foreign Affairs Committee - Subcommittee on International Operations. For over three decades, Roman traveled extensively, managing sales campaigns and business issues in the Middle East, Asia, South America, North America, and Europe.
Roman served on a variety of external boards during his career, including: The National Defense University, The Middle East Policy Council, The Hire Veterans Now Task Force, The Eisenhower Fellows - St. Louis Program, Variety, St. Louis University - Boeing School of International Business, Webster University, The St. Louis Zoo, St. Louis Civic Progress, The Regional Business Council, The St. Louis Police Foundation, Better Together, and The Mercy Health System, where he currently chairs the Patient Safety and Quality Committee for the Mercy East Communities, as well as serves as a member on the Mercy Ministry Board - Patient Safety and Quality Committee.
Roman earned his B.A. in Business Administration and a Masters of Science in Business Administration, both from Pennsylvania State University. He is a member of the National Association of Scuba Educators, Professional Association of Dive Instructors, The American Quarter Horse Association, and the American Ranch Horse Association.
